'AoA Audio Extractor' is a small program doing a simple job. It can extract the sound from almost any type of video file. It supports files like AVI, MPEG, FLV, DAT, WMV, MOV, MP4, 3GP, ASF, and QT. The program is very easy to use, because all its features are listed on its main window. The output file types are MP3, WAV, or AC3. For the output file, you can set the audio bitrate, sample rate, and the channel (stereo or mono). is The 'Preview' is an interesting feature. It shows you the duration, the number of frames per second (FPS), the width and height (W*H), as well as the first frame of the selected movie clip. I was a little disappointed by the fact that I couldn't preview at least a part of the movie in the program. If I loaded more than a movie clip, it was a little difficult to realize which one it was which.

The user interface is very easy to use and intuitive.

Pluses: Easy to use, fast and free.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: I will use this program from now on because it works well and it's free.
